The activity of representatives of Kazakhstan increased by more than 4 times due to an increase in the supply of melons

Over the past week, the audience of the largest fruit and vegetable trading group EastFruit Trade Platform continued to replenish with new participants and exceeded 8,200. We will analyze who and what sold at this, as well as other EastFruit venues for this period.

Last week, representatives of 15 countries placed ads on the sale of products in the group. The activity of the participants in the group recovered after the recession, which was recorded a week earlier due to the holidays. Most of the offers of fruits and vegetables, as a week earlier, came from participants in Russia and Uzbekistan. The activity of representatives of Kazakhstan increased by more than 4 times due to an increase in the supply of melons. The five active countries also included Belarus and Turkey. New announcements include sales of celery and apples from Poland, dates from Algeria and grapes from Egypt.

The leaders in sales in the vegetable segment remain onions and potatoes. The number of carrot offers doubled. But the number of ads for the sale of beets and cabbage has been declining for the second week in a row. Participants from the central regions of Russia increased sales of tomatoes and cucumbers, which affected the growth in the number of ads.

In the fruit and berry segment, sales of watermelon and melon are leading. The number of ads on melons increased due to the growth of offers from Kazakhstan. Our weekly schedule did not include garden strawberries, cherries and apricots, the supply of which decreased. Nectarine and peach took their place thanks to sellers from Uzbekistan. There were also offers of Krasnodar cherries and Moldavian cherries. Georgian producers began selling blackberries.
