At a meeting of the Servant of the People faction, it was decided to postpone consideration of the draft law on the land market

According to NV, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine today does not intend to continue consideration of the bill on opening the land market. This is evidenced by the agenda of two extraordinary parliamentary meetings.

During the first extraordinary meeting, which began at 8.00, the Rada considers bills related to the fight against the outbreak of coronavirus. Deputies, in particular, without discussion adopted bill No. 3219 on preventing the occurrence and spread of coronavirus disease COVID-19.

The second extraordinary meeting is scheduled for 10.00. In the course of the meeting, the deputies will consider the appointment of the interim head of the State Security Bureau, Irina Venediktova, as the Prosecutor General, as well as the appointment of Igor Petrashko, Deputy Director General of Ukrlandfarming Agricultural Holding, as the Minister of Economy.

Last night, the Servant of the People faction said that the bill on the land market would be adopted on March 17, but at a meeting of the faction it was decided to postpone consideration of this issue.

Until April 3, Ukraine was declared quarantine due to the global coronavirus pandemic. Ukrainians are not recommended to leave home. In almost all regional centers, the work of shopping and entertainment facilities was stopped.

On March 17, the metro in Kiev was discontinued, and on March 18, railway communication between the regions will be stopped.
