Compared to the same period in 2019, external deliveries increased by 1.3 thousand tons.

As of June 1 of this year, Uzbekistan exported 11.2 thousand tons of new crop apricot in the amount of $ 10.9 million, increasing external deliveries by 1.3 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2019. This is evidenced by the data of the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

Moreover, export was carried out to the markets of 9 foreign countries. Among them, the largest volume of Uzbek apricot was exported to Kazakhstan – 6 thousand tons for $ 4.92 million, Russia -3.6 thousand tons for $ 3.47 million, and Kyrgyzstan -1.2 thousand tons for $ 2.16.

This year, Uzbek apricot was exported for the first time to the markets of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkmenistan, where 91.2, 9.4 and 18.2 tons of products were delivered, respectively.

The largest growth in export volumes occurred in the markets of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ukraine – 6 and 4 times, respectively. So, 4.1 tons of apricot for $ 10 thousand were delivered to the UAE, and 253.6 tons for $ 194.5 thousand were delivered to Ukraine.
