Frozen products will be delivered both in large volumes for the b2b segment and on the shelves of Ukrainian supermarkets.

The launch of the shock freezing direction of IQF vegetables, fruits and berries is planned this year at the main enterprise of the T.B. Fruit in Gorodok. Lviv region of Ukraine.

Previously, the Polish plant T.B. Fruit. However, later it was decided to transfer production in Ukraine. Thus, the company provides Ukrainians with jobs and creates prerequisites for the development of the country’s raw material base.

Individual Quick Freezing (IQF) technology – Quickly freeze foods by using the lowest possible temperatures. This allows you to maintain the appearance, taste and all useful substances in fruits, berries and vegetables at the level of a fresh product.

According to UNIAN, the capacity of production of shock freezing will amount to 120 tons of raw materials per day.

Frozen products will be delivered both in large volumes for the b2b segment and on the shelves of Ukrainian supermarkets, which will allow crowding out a foreign producer and reducing the cost of the product for the final consumer.

“Today, the majority of frozen products on the shelves of Ukrainian supermarkets are occupied by products of Polish manufacturers, here in Ukraine they buy raw materials, pack it all in Poland, and then we consume imported products from shelves of domestic stores. TB Fruit breaks the trend and allows Ukrainian production to develop in this direction. Due to this, planting of horticulture under appropriate agricultural crops will increase.
