In the vegetable segment, most of the advertisements were for the sale of potatoes, the supply of which has grown

Over the past week, the audience of the most popular fruit and vegetable trading group EastFruit Trade Platform has increased by 200 new users, while the total number of participants has exceeded 11 thousand!

Let’s analyze who and what sold on this and other EastFruit sites during this period.

The number of advertisements for the sale of fruit and vegetable products, as well as the geography of offers last week, remained at the level of the previous period. Representatives of 14 countries sold their products on the site. Most of the proposals came from participants from Russia and Uzbekistan. The five active countries also included Belarus, Ukraine and Egypt. Among the new ads, one can single out the sale of grapes from Armenia, as well as herbs and herbs from Italy.

In the vegetable segment, most of the advertisements were for the sale of potatoes, the supply of which increased. The number of sales of onions, carrots and beets also increased. The supply of tomatoes and cucumbers has decreased, and the latter so much that they did not even make it into our top sales. But as they say, “a holy place – it never happens empty”, therefore in the top we have bell pepper, the sale of which was advertised by representatives of 5 countries.

In the fruit and berry segment, apple sales lead, the supply of which is only slightly inferior to potatoes. Members also actively sell grapes, melons and watermelons. The sales of plums and pomegranates increased. Proposals for the sale of grapes and plums from Moldova and Ukraine began to arrive. The supply of nuts remained at the level of the last week, and the Ukrainian participants even offered walnut shells.

The graph of the dynamics of proposals for key positions in quantitative terms is given below.

Participants bought mainly cucumbers and tomatoes, due to the reduction in offers. Potatoes, carrots, onions and garlic were also in demand. Among fruits, most of all purchase announcements were placed on apple.

Fertilizers were the sales leader in EastFruit Fruittechnology technology group. They actively offered raspberry and blueberry seedlings, as well as cluster seedlings of garden strawberries. We sold boxes and a net for vegetables and fruits. Seeds of onion and garlic were in demand. Of the interesting announcements, one can single out the sale in Ukraine of a cone nutcracker and a nut cleaner from green peel.

EastFruit Trade Platform prices (Russia)

The increase in the supply of bell pepper in Russia forced sellers to reduce the selling prices for it. Onions, beets and cabbage also fell in price. But prices for cucumbers were raised by almost all sellers. In the fruit and berry segment, only grapes became cheaper. Plums continued to rise in price. The prices for watermelons and melons have increased.

Prices of EastFruit Trade Platform, UkrOpt and Viber Group (Ukraine)

Potatoes and beets fell in price on Ukrainian trading floors. The selling price of tomatoes has dropped this time and looks more and more like a swing. Sellers have also cut prices for all types of peppers, with the exception of bitter green, which rose in price last week. In addition, prices for cabbage and carrots have increased. The increased supply of cauliflower and Chinese cabbage forced sellers to adjust prices downward. The price range of onion sales has decreased. Dill and parsley continued to fall in price on the greens market, while the selling price of basil went down.

In the fruit and berry segment only apples went up. Prices for other items decreased slightly or remained at the level of the previous period.
