In connection with the expected demand, the Brusvyana nursery plans to restore two of its own varieties of sea buckthorn next year. Sea buckthorn is a product for the technical processing of juices, drinks, additives. “Now in Ukraine there are many who want to plant hundreds of hectares of sea buckthorn, but there is not enough planting material and technology,” said Liliana Dmitrieva, director of the Brusvyana nursery.

According to forecasts by Liliana Dmitrieva, over the next five years, sea buckthorn will be in the focus of Ukrainian berries. “We are preparing to meet the demand for seedlings. Next year we will restore two of our own varieties that were already in the State Register – Kyiv Yantar and Lybid, she said.

One large plantation of sea buckthorn is already in the Chernihiv region, next year it will be laid in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The nursery continues to develop its intellectual property portfolio. “The raspberry variety is most demanded under the TM“ Brusvyana ”, under this TM there is also a variety of honeysuckle. We have registered our logo and the consumer already distinguishes products when choosing in the distribution network. We recommend that all colleagues develop their own brand, ”Dmitrieva added.
