So, onions continued to decline actively in price in Ukraine in view of the growing supply of these products and the frequent complaints of customers about its quality. Moreover, while prices in the capital fell to $ 0.15-0.22 / kg, in the southern regions of the country they fell to $ 0.09-0.13 / kg. The current price level is on average three times lower than it was noted a year ago, and opens up pretty good opportunities for exporting Ukrainian products. So, farmers have already reported an increase in demand for their products from importers from Belarus and some EU countries.

Note that in Belarus and Poland this week, onion prices even increased slightly to an average of $ 0.31 / kg and $ 0.38 / kg, respectively. Suppliers of onions imported from Uzbekistan and other countries of Central Asia, who also managed to increase prices, remained active in the Russian market.
