This year, because of COVID-19, the organizers have prepared a virtual event – United Fresh Live

On June 15-19, 2020, fresh-food companies took part in the leading international trade fair for fruits and vegetables, United Fresh.

This annual fair brings together representatives of the fresh food industry to hold networking events, organize receptions for business communities, conferences, webinars, meetings, specialized trainings and other social events. This year, because of COVID-19, the organizers have prepared a virtual event – United Fresh Live, writes EUneighbors.

Thanks to the EU-funded project “Eastern Partnership: Trade Readiness”, 17 small and medium-sized enterprises from Georgia were able to show their products on a virtual stand.

To help the fair participants from Georgia, the EU project provided them with daily support, developed business catalogs and helped “build” their virtual booth. During the fair, the Georgian booth attracted more than 500 visitors. The companies have established more than 30 new contacts with new enterprises for them from around the world.
