Modern technological production only at the first stage will allow to process 18.5 thousand tons of raw materials

In the city of Nevinnomyssk (Stavropol Territory, Russia), a new enterprise is being prepared for opening – a plant for the production of dried vegetables and fruits. According to “Potato System” referring to the statement of the city administration, the investment project is being implemented with the support of the regional government.

“The plant will process agricultural products using special drying equipment. Modern technological production only at the first stage will make it possible to process 18.5 thousand tons of raw materials into 2.5 thousand tons of finished products, ”the mayor’s office said.

The production technology excludes any preservatives.

“As a result, we will get dried vegetables and fruits that will not only retain their beneficial properties, but can also be stored from a year to 5 years,” said the mayor of the city Mikhail Minenkov.

The new plant will give the city 43 new jobs and provide an opportunity to reduce the share of imports, the mayor said. The cost of the investment project is 104.5 million rubles.
