This statement was made yesterday by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to him, the abolition of restrictions on the export of agricultural products will begin to operate on June 1, reports KazakhZerno.kz.

Previously introduced restriction measures were temporary. At this time, isolation measures in the country are gradually being removed. This means that in agriculture the previous commodity circulation will be restored. With the advent of summer, they plan to remove the ban on grain and flour, as well as other food products.

The bans and quotas eliminated the food safety risk in Kazakhstan, managed to stock up on flour and other goods, the farmers approached the sowing campaign safely, the weather is forecast good, it is planned to harvest a fairly good crop that will ensure the country’s security.

As reported, on March 22, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan imposed a restriction on the export of certain types of socially significant agricultural products in order to guarantee the supply of local bread and animal feed for local producers of coronavirus. Ten days later, a new order came out – to regulate the export of certain goods from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. They banned the export of buckwheat, sugar, potatoes, onions, garlic, and sunflower oil. Flour, wheat, carrots, turnips, beets, cabbage were on the list by which products were allowed to be exported partially, according to quotas.
